The Holly Springs Salamanders defeated the Asheboro Copperheads 3-0 in a rain-shortened game on Sunday evening at Ting Stadium.

The Holly Springs Salamanders lost to the Wilmington Sharks by a score of 2-1 in a pitching duel Saturday Night.

The Holly Springs Salamanders fell to the Peninsula Pilots 13-1 on Wednesday night at Ting Stadium.

Salamanders starting pitcher Jake Isbell (Freshman, Pitt CC) surrendered nine runs (five earned) on seven hits in three innings, walking none and striking out two. Kent Klyman (Freshman, NC State), Josh Little (Senior, NC Central) and Rabon Martin (Junior, Louisville) all made appearances out of the bullpen. Little’s appearance marked his Salamanders debut.

The Holly Springs Salamanders used a hot start to propel themselves past the Martinsville Mustangs 7-1 at Hooker Field. The game was the first half of a doubleheader on Tuesday evening.
