Salamanders Add to Roster

The Holly Springs Salamanders are proud to announce the addition of Andrew Wantz, Connor Johnson, and Joey Roach to their 2015 inaugural season roster. Wantz and Roach hail from Holly Springs, NC while Johnson comes to us from nearby Rockwell, NC.

Wantz, a freshman infielder/right-handed pitcher from UNC-Greensboro, is competing in his first collegiate season.  So far this season, he leads the Spartans with five wins and is second on the team with a .833… Read More

Salamanders Ink Two to Roster

The Holly Springs Salamanders are excited to announce the addition of two players to our 2015 inaugural season roster.  Brad Archer, a right-handed pitcher, from Missouri State and Robbie Thorburn, a position player, from UNC-Wilmington.

Salamanders sign first player

The Holly Spring Salamanders proudly announce that Joey Roach is the first player signed in team history.

The junior catcher hit .301 with three home runs, eight doubles and 23 RBIs during the 2014 season for Georgia State University and was named a First-Team All-Sun Belt Conference selection.
